MyLithiumBattery extends its range of accessories with new charge indicators, including the CC75, CC150, CC500 coulomb counter

    Poissy, May 29, 2018

High accuracy measurements of voltage (V), capacity (Ah), power (W) and battery energy

CC75, CC150, CC500 Coulomb Counters from MyLithiumBattery.com allow the user to obtain a state of charge in % (SoC – State Of Charge), and a precise depth of discharge (DoD) of the battery. They also calculate, in real time, the time remaining before the battery is completely empty.

    [su_custom_gallery source=”media: 7047,7050,7049″ limit=”10″ link=”lightbox” width=”200″ height=”150″ title=”always”]

The CC 75/150/500 are suitable for batteries with an operating voltage from 8V to 80V DC.
    There are 3 versions :

    [su_list icon=”icon: circle-o” icon_color=”#1585c4″]

    • CC75 measuring from 0 to 75A, compatible with M6 terminals
    • CC150 measuring from 0 to 150A, compatible with M8 terminals
    • CC500 measuring from 0 to 500A, compatible with M10 terminals

    [/su_list]

For applications using batteries, the situation is often critical if users are suddenly without energy (for example electric bicycles, security cameras, alarms, IoT, on-board sensors…).
In these cases, the accuracy of a Coulomb Counter for batteries State of Charge measurement is a “must have”.

    Rely on CC75, CC150, CC500 coulombs counters

Simply measuring a voltage at the terminals of a battery is not enough to know its precise state of charge (SoC).

With our CC75/150/500, the advantage is real and allows precise counting of coulombs to determine their state of charge, as well as a measurement of the battery voltage and the instantaneous current used. This information is used to monitor the charge status of the system with battery.

Coulomb Counter allows accurate SoC information that can be communicated onto a bus network (CAN, TTL232, RS232).

Once the counter is initialized, it counts the coulombs used for a discharge, and those generated by a charger in order to take partial charges into account.

This principle has the advantage of being compatible with all battery technologies (lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO4), lithium-ion, Li-Polymer, lead-acid and nickel-metal hybrid batteries…).

    • MobHylpower

Presented for the first time at Hyvolution 2018, the Mobhylpower is a generator that uses hydrogen as fuel and can therefore provide mobile electricity without any polluting emissions. It is equipped with the PowerRack® modular Lithium-Ion storage system, now approved by Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore. It is available in 30kW and soon in a 4kW version.

    • SAGES Station

The SAGES stations are energy storage stations that mix several technologies (modular Lithium-Ion storage system (LiFePO4) PowerRack®, hydrogen fuel cell…) allowing to meet the needs in electrical storage for many applications (isolated sites, self-consumption) thanks to its technology allowing to use the capacities of each technology to the best of its capacities.

    The E-mobility market today

    Electro-mobility becomes more democratic

It is the ability or property for people or objects to move in a space, by a means of transport using partially or totally electrical energy.

Today, electromobility meets a major challenge in the fight against global warming. That of the replacement of polluting thermal engines by electric models more respectful of the environment.

According to figures released by the IEA (International Energy Agency), the number of electric cars in circulation around the world has sharply increased in 2016. With more than 750,000 units sold (40% more than the previous year), the market of green vehicles has exceeded the symbolic bar of 2 millions of units.

    Some key figures:

    [su_list icon=”icon: circle-o” icon_color=”#59b77d”]

    • China has become the main market for electrically powered cars. With more than 336,000 new registrations, it concentrates more than 40% of global sales in 2016. Moreover, there are 200 million electric two-wheelers and more than 300,000 electric busses.
    • In second place is Europe with more than 215,000 green cars in 2016.
    • In Norway, electric cars account for 1/3 of new car sales.
    • Next come the United Kingdom, France (where electromobility represents only 1.5% of the market share), Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands.
