    PowerTech Systems is pleased to announce that it is equipping the “Ducasse sur Seine” electric boat with its [su_highlight]PowerRack®[/su_highlight] modular lithium battery system.

    This 100% electric boat (propulsion, on-board equipment, kitchens, etc.) is powered entirely by our Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, representing a stored energy of 720 kWh divided into two totally independent PowerRack banks.

    The PowerRack battery system, certified by Bureau Veritas in early 2018, consists of 24 cabinets of 30kWh in 700V DC, connected in parallel. These batteries represent a weight of about 9 tons on board. This cabinet system limits floor space and allows energy to be stacked over the entire height of the hull, making the installation compact and integrated into the boat.

    The “Ducasse sur Seine” has been in production since September 10, 2018. It delights the taste buds of its passengers twice a day (lunch and dinner), every day of the week. The trip to the heart of Paris is done without vibrations, silently, and without any pollution.

    The official inauguration of the Ducasse sur Seine took place on 25 September 2018 in the presence of Mrs Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, and other personalities.

    21 French engineers students in aeronautics of the Estaca group have a dream ! They wanted to participate in the 2017 Bonneville Speed week with an atypical vehicle… An electric streamliner! And they did it!

    Not beating the record of 345km/h, they managed to reach nearly 250km/h with their electric racing car on the salt lake of Bonneville, Utah, USA.

    The electric streamliner was equipped with two engines of E-formula 1, high technologies, a high power lithium Iron Phosphate battery. This latter is designed and built by PowerTechSystems. Well prepared, they were close to the speed record for an electric car!

    An ambitious project of 7m length which provoked deep reactions, increasing renown and curiosity about the future technologies.

  • Lithium Ion battery for ESTACA On The Salt is ready !

    This high performance Lithium ion iron Phosphate LiFe (LiFePO4) battery is designed by the PowerTech Systems teams. This lithium ion battery is able to deliver 250kW during the race in order to beat the speed record of the Bonneville Speed Week (USA) in August 2017.

  • PowerTech Systems, batteries supplier for COP 22 in Marrakech

    First, the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP22) took place in Marrakech, from 7 to 18 November. 

    Of course, all the participants work together to come up with global solutions to climate change. Salaheddine Mezouar, the Moroccan Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation will preside the conference.

    On this occasion (COP22), the moroccan engineer Imad Morchid revealed his unique concept car to the world. His revolutionary invention highlights and links performance and design… The vehicule is 100% electric powered. His vehicle is able to generate very high performances (up to 160 HP).

    PowerTech Systems is proud to announce its participation to this project. PowerTech Systems designs and supplies the battery system of this vehicule.

  • Lithium Ion batteries for a 400km/h speed record !

    PowerTech Systems is glad to be a part of ESTACA Engineering School speed record project: Estaca On The Salt !

    Speed Record

    The goal ? Building a 100% electric car capable to beat the World record of 343Km/h (213.084 MpH), and, why not, to exceed 400km/h.

    PowerTech Systems will design a lightweight battery with very high discharge capabilities (250kW peak power!) to help the team to beat this record.
